Day 3 of the Inca trail had to be the most spectacular, and the longest. We began well before sunrise with the porters bringing us a hot cup of coca tea to help get us going.

We traveled to 4 different Inca villages along the way, each with their own bit of history told to us by Nick our guide.

This is Phuyupatamarca, or the City above the Clouds.

Phuyupatamarca still has a working irrigation system and some baths that during the wet season are constantly filled with fresh water.
