On somewhat of a “failed” outing with the MVIS, due to all the cancellations fearing the pending snowstorm, Ted Knapp, and Cathy Kline showed up early at Wyandotte County lake on a cold March morning. A park built in the early 20th century, it featured many structures built from FDR’s WPA programs. This bridge was a nice example of it. The water was down 5-6 feet below normal, which allowed me down almost at eye/water level to paint this piece.
The snow storm came a few hours later, dumping about 8 more inches for the final snowstorm of the year… so far.
