18x18 oil on canvas

Cemetery Ridge
18×18 oil
$520 SOLD

Susie had seen in the Kansas City Star an article about “fall colors”, and suggested I go over to Forest Hill Cemetery on Troost and scout around for something to paint. I was a little worried about going anywhere East of Troost by myself, but grabbing my brushes and my hat, I was out the door, and I was so glad I did. This was an amazingly beautiful area, and the way the light was illuminating the tree on the hill was striking. It was a very peaceful setting in the midst of the city, with many places that will find themselves on my canvases.
