Hello Greg,
I just finished reading most of the posts on your blog. The times you referred to Rick were so meaningful. I think he is in your painting and mine too, whether we recognize it or not. The limited palette I have stuck to as well…once in a while adding from two to four other colors.
I met Lexie in January at Rick’s place. Stayed in her casita. Wow! the place isn’t the same without him. Larry Hitt made three frames for me. Rick helped him out to.
Rick’s book is being put together and photos of his work by a woman in Denver. Perhaps Lexie updated you. Heading for Wichita and KC in late June. Two nieces live in KC.
Love you work, Thelma
Hi Thelma, good to hear from you. What torture or penance are you doing to have to gruel through all my blogs. I appreciate it. I do keep Rick in mind as I can. I carry in my easel an old horseshoe that he found up behind his place in Mogote, and I’ve engraved a few words in it.
Would love to meet you when you come to KC sometime. June is kind of crazy with me going to the Publishers Invitational in NY. Want to meet Lexie too. Please keep in touch, and thanks again for writing and saying hi.
Greg
